At The Little Big Top, face painting isn’t about fancy chairs, flashy designs, or rushing to get through a line. For us, it’s about something much more important — connection.

 

Magic Mel practices what we call good ol’ fashioned face painting — the kind where every child feels seen, heard, and special. Instead of towering chairs that make kids nervous (and sometimes even unsafe), we bring the magic down to their level. Sitting eye-to-eye, Melissa takes her time, making each child comfortable and helping them feel like they’re truly a part of the show.

 

It’s not about impressing the grown-ups. It’s about the kids — their smiles, their giggles, their chance to step into a little world of wonder. Whether they leave as a tiger, a superhero, or a sparkling fairy, what matters most is that they leave feeling amazing.
